Recovered materials
Solid recovered fuel
A SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel) is a fuel produced from waste that cannot be recovered as a secondary material.
The primary aim of CSR production is to limit landfill and the use of fossil fuels. This approach began in 2010 and has continued to develop.
Environnement Massif Central's RDF comes from the shredding and mechanical and optical sorting of :
The recipes for this fuel are adapted to our customers' specifications and validated by quality control (ICP, moisture, ash, chlorine content, etc.).
Environnement Massif Central produces two categories of wood after sorting, crushing and screening:

Scrap and non-ferrous metals
We supply steelworks and foundries with used scrap of various types, sorted and prepared according to thickness and alloy, in bundles or bulk.
Non-ferrous metals are sorted by alloy and category for delivery to consumer plants.
Complex waste is waste which, because of its heterogeneous composition, is difficult to recycle and is therefore often landfilled or incinerated.
In some cases, they may be the result of a manufacturing defect.
Thanks to our expertise, we are able to use automatic and/or mechanical processes to separate the various materials making up this waste and recycle them, giving priority to material recovery wherever possible.
