Our commitments
In an ever-changing world, continuous improvement is not just a goal, it's a necessity. At Environnement Massif Central, we've taken this commitment to heart. Today, we are proud to share our journey towards ISO 9001 / ISO 14001, EUCERTPLAST, Clean Sweep and RECYCLASS certification.
ISO 9001: Beyond Customer Satisfaction, A Culture of Improvement
ISO 9001 certification goes beyond simple customer satisfaction. It establishes a culture of continuous improvement within our company.
By structuring our internal processes, we can guarantee not only consistent quality in our offerings, but also greater capacity to anticipate and respond to our customers' changing needs and regulatory requirements.
This standard helps us to identify opportunities for improvement, reduce inefficiencies and maximise customer satisfaction.
ISO 14001: players in the Circular Economy
ISO 14001 goes beyond simple environmental compliance.
This certification is not just a question of compliance, but a proactive approach to reducing our ecological footprint.
It reflects our commitment to the circular economy, seeking to minimise our environmental impact while optimising the use of resources.
It is a mark of our responsibility and our desire to contribute to a more sustainable future.

Decarbonation
The urgent need to tackle climate change is forcing all economic players to rethink their business models and embark on a collective low-carbon path.
The national targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions are ambitious, and the sectors that emit the most, such as transport, industry, construction and energy production, are the first to have to take action.
As such, Environnement Massif Central is fully committed to the energy transition, with the support of ADEME (Agence de la Transition Ecologique), BPI France (Banque Publique d'Investissements) and ABC (Association pour la Transition Bas Carbone).
Environnement Massif Central is successively carrying out two major actions:
1. A Greenhouse Gas Budget (GHGB)
Through the DIAG DECARBON'ACTION programme, Environnement Massif Central is carrying out a Greenhouse Gas Assessment to measure the carbon emissions linked to its activity.
In 2022, Environnement Massif Central will emit 8,000 tonnes of CO2, which is equivalent to :
- To the annual emissions of 800 French people
- 1300 circumnavigations of the Earth by plane
- Combustion of 52,000 full tanks of diesel fuel
The largest sources of emissions are :
- 30%: FRET (incoming and outgoing transport), corresponding to approximately 50,000 tonnes of incoming and outgoing materials transported by Environnement Massif Central's fleet of vehicles and by external carriers.
- 28% : FIXED ASSETS (machinery)
- 23%: PURCHASES (consumables)
Thanks to this analysis, Environnement Massif Central now has a regulatory baseline, which forms the basis for any consideration of decarbonisation.
2. Chipboard preparation line
The Decarbonisation Accelerator is a programme designed to help companies define a realistic and robust low-carbon strategy.
Bpifrance has joined forces with ADEME to offer a comprehensive support package based on the ACT Step-by-Step methodology, which enables Environnement Massif Central to :
In 2022, Environnement Massif Central will emit 8,000 tonnes of CO2, equivalent to :
- Identify the levers and define the company's decarbonisation trajectory, taking account of development issues
- Support in the initial stages of implementation
In detail, Environnement Massif Central is currently working on the following objectives:
- Embarking on a low-carbon transition
- Drawing up a transition strategy and plan
- Seizing new growth opportunities
- Mobilising teams
- Involving partners and investors in the transition
Without delay, the decision was taken to build a 2.5 MW ground-based power plant.
See you soon as we implement the rest of our Decarbonisation Plan!
